Corporate Communication Strategy This is not another name for corporate image advertising, and it's not PR. It’s the conscious decision to control all the communications a company has with its various audiences. Corporate advertising communications and PR in the total activities sense are potentially aimed at any audience that has some stake in the company's well-being. To be effectively in control a company must look backward down the channel toward its inputs: to product and material suppliers, to funds suppliers, and to its supply of prospective employees. Third, the company must look internally at its own employees, both management and staff, to support the company's mission and perform more effectively. And fourth, it must look forward to its customers, be they distributors or final consumers buy the company's products and patronise its services.
